Build Quality of the Takamine CG71-NAT

The sound box of the GD71CE has been shaped using rosewood topped with a solid spruce panel while the mahogany neck is finished with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. The combination of these wood types shapes a direct sound with plenty of depth, warmth and just the right amount of brightness. The body is finished with elegant maple bindings that run along the edge of the body, neck and head and are echoed by the maple position markers while the sound hole is surrounded by a abalone pearl inlay. To maintain optimum tuning stability, the attention to detail extends to the two part bridge.
